Portentous Quatrain #2

Black-maned, toothless, his circus overturned
Ushered to the gallows of his making:
Quiet the giddy executioners
A hooded prayer, then loose legs shaking.

Portentous Quatrain #1

An arrow guide the spider-thread across
Tested, trusted, tried swaying under foot:
The untouched cloud a testament to loss,
From mountain pulled: a cap, a bone, a boot.
